By example, Jennifer Schembri-Portelli uses her knowledge, skills and expertise in her role of professional fitness instructor. Jennifer demonstrates leadership, guidance and direction to students seeking a career in the industry and encourage current instructors to up skill and remain a positive and motivated fitness leader. Jennifer always aim to provide an ethical and strong foundation for their future success. I am privileged to have the opportunity towork with students entering the fitness industry and specifically those keen to attempt water-based fitness.

2009 Victorian Personal Training Business of the Year
Fitness Kick @ Flemington was created in 2004, the brainchild of 4 time World Fitness Pairs Champions Matt Thom & Monica Wright, the only husband & wife team ever to win a World Fitness Title. Matt & Monica recognized that a health club with all the latest equipment, all the bells and whistles was still not delivering results to its clients. Fitness Kick is a club that is there for its members and prides itself on offering the highest standard of professionalism and service for its members.

Contours Geelong West
2009 Victorian Small Fitness Business of the Year
Contours Geelong West takes a big business approach to their small business by creating a clear structure of advancement within the business. Success has come from the time and effort taken in developing and understanding the needs of their team with the objective being to make them better, well rounded industry professionals. Contours Geelong West are often used as a mentoring facility by other Contours franchisees from all around the country, as well as other local gyms and personal training businesses. Contours Geelong West are comfortable in where they sit in the fitness market, as they see they are more as a stepping stone for their members to try something new or more advanced.

2009 Victorian Medium Fitness Business of the Year
The building of trust between clients and the broader community is a process that requires a consistency of effort over a prolonged period of time. Over the last 2 years, STAR FITNESS has made a concerted effort to create a framework for success based around fulfilling member needs and providing unparalleled customer service.

2009 Victorian Large Fitness Business of the Year
Growth is the perfect example of how South Pacific Health Club is leading the way in managing a modern fitness business. Since opening their St Kilda Club with only 15 staff members in 2001, they now employ over 120 staff. Being a role model for the community, and helping them towards a healthier lifestyle, comes in many different facets. South Pacific Health Club aims to cater to all needs and have done so very successfully.
